Saludos !!! I'm Kate. I'm from the beautiful small town of Woodstock, Vermont. I graduated from Clemson University in May of 2012 with a degree in Spanish and International Trade. During my four years at Clemson, I was an active member of the Women's Club Lacrosse Team and a brother in the Kappa Tau chapter of the international business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi. During my undergraduate career, I had the opportunity to develop various leadership, interpersonal, and international business skills, as well as fluency in Spanish, an admiration for foreign culture, and a passion for travel and adventure. In November of 2012, I accepted an invitation to serve with the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic as a Community Economic Advisor from March 2013-May 2015.
UPDATE: Have since extended service and will now serve as the Peace Corps Volunteer Leader of the Community Economic Development Sector until June 2016.
